Get Prepped For Black Friday
The holidays are approaching, seemingly faster, every year. The urge to prep is near and real, and for some people this is an overwhelming feat to wrap your head around.
Most local shops also get involved with Black Friday sales in competition with the big department stores. For Vape Shops this is a time when you can see an influx of vapers looking for deals for themselves, to give as a gift to convert smokers, or from new customers in the market for a gift for a loved one to help keep them on the path toward healthier alternatives to smoking.
So when you see it that way, Black Friday seems like a sale you as a shop owner should provide your loyal customers. After all, it is the day after Thanksgiving, so why not show your thanks and appreciation to your customers.
If you're at a loss at where to start here are a few simple ways to make Black Friday easier on you and your shoppers.
#1 It's Not A Happy Hour But...
It's disadvantageous to only offer your Black Friday deals for a limited time, say 3PM to Closing. This causes a rush of people and more work for you, and a loss of customers who will just find another store offering deals all day. While you may think a sense of urgency will drive customers to you, the fact is it will do the opposite. People are busy with family at these times, or still full and lazy from last night's meal and this morning's left overs. So having a set time when they have to get up off the couch and head out of the door is unappealing. So keep the deals going all day.
However... if your shop offers a happy hour, don't take it out of your Black Friday schedule. Let people know that on Black Friday, when Happy Hour is 10% all juice from 3-6PM, those juices will now be 15% off.
#2 Be Prepared
Black Friday is when people are in the mood to buy what's new. Be sure you have a fair amount of new products to offer discounts on, as well as your typical popular products like coils and juices. Try to bring in some new items like the Perkey LOV, SMOK Mag Grip, or the VooPoo Drag 2 or Mini. Let people know on your social media or through word of mouth in your store that these hot new items will get marked down on Black Friday.
#3 Save More Make More
Shop our clearance section. When you save, they save, they buy more, and in return you earn. Clearance juices and accessories will definitely get you big returns on Black Friday when people buy from you in bulk and take advantage of your sale.
#4 Offer Even More
If you know you're gonna be busy, make it fun. Order a couple pizzas and offer a slice with each purchase or even upon entry. Offer promotions like, "Nail such-and-such trick first try and get an additional such-and-such percent off." Or, "Blow (insert cloud size here) and receive (insert discount here)." Hell, get your friend to come in and DJ for an hour. If you have a lounge, maybe host a gaming tournament. Or give back! Have people bring in their Thanksgiving leftovers as a donation for an added discount and at the end of the day bring those donations to a local shelter or food drive.
#5 Safety First
You may not have those door busting scenes you see on World Star or the 5 O'clock news but you will have an increase in traffic if the deals are good and you advertise it well. So if you've got a tight space, move displays around, make things easier to see and navigate through. Keep certain "big ticket" items behind the counter only to avoid people fighting over, say, the last Lost Vape Orion DNA GO kit. Make your deals clear, visible, and accessible, and have all hands on deck; Employees should be ready for questions, concerns, and ringing people up.

At a price point of $3.60 per Mojo these are the perfect incentive for customers. "Get a free Mojo for every $25 spent" Get creative with it, but these bonus gifts and offers for free items get people excited.
