The VooPoo Drag quickly soared to the top of everyone's list of favorites shortly after its initial release, and then quickly became a must have with the release of the Drag 2. In comparison to the original release of the Drag, the Drag 2 introduced the GENE FIT Chip where the original boasted an advanced 32-Bit GENE chip.

The new GENE FIT chip supports flavor set and cloud mode in addition to the other advanced modes that the Drag implemented. The original also featured the VooPoo UFORCE T1 Tank, and the Drag 2 of course came paired with the UFORCE T2 Tank.

So we are all wondering now what the new features of the Mini will bring to the table besides being well... just being mini.

The VooPoo Drag Mini will differ from the Drag 2 in a few key ways besides being 7mm shorter. The main differences lie in the wattage, coils, and battery.

Wattage: The max wattage on the Mini will cap at 117W versus the max 177W of the Drag 2. A small difference considering the change in size and battery power.

Coils: This kit will come with the UFORCE P2 coil pre-installed and a spare UFORCE N1 coil versus the Drag 2's UFORCE U2 and N3 coils. 

Battery: surely, the most important differentiating feature of the Drag Mini will be the battery. Rather than a dual battery powered Mod, the Mini features an integrated 4400mah built-in-battery.

This is a key feature that now makes the Drag a must have on the full spectrum of vaper's needs; As we know many vapers don't care for dual battery mods or even like straying away from integrated battery powered mods all together. Some vapers dislike the idea of having to hassle with batteries occasionally popping out if the mod is dropped. Others are weary of the idea of finding proper batteries or the damage that can come from using the wrong or damaged batteries. A built in battery eliminates these fears and hassles and this battery is exceptionally powerful itself.

While this is an advanced mod, the Mini does give middle ground vapers, who are looking to transition to a box mod, that added security of having a powerful mod simplified and less intimidating in size and maintenance. 

And fans of the Drag 2 now have the option to slightly down size to make their favorite box mod a now more portable option for on the go.

The Drag Mini will certainly be a hit in stores for vapers of all walks of life. While maintaining the specs of the Drag 2 that everyone loves, the Drag Mini takes added steps to make the Drag Mini a new device for different types of users and different types of usage in itself.
